description:
Two hours of radar behind you. Forty-five minutes ahead.
Doppler Radar Map Live Pro is built for people who want to read the weather themselves. The radar is high-resolution and fast-refreshing — individual cells stay sharp as you zoom in, instead of dissolving into colored mush — and you get the controls to interrogate it.
RADAR, IN DEPTH
- Detailed, accurate radar showing rain, snow, sleet and hail
- Radar history stretches the loop back through 1, 1.5 or 2 hours
- Nowcast prediction runs up to 45 minutes forward, so you can see where a cell is tracking
- The scrubber snaps to time detents with haptic feedback, or animates hands-free
- Radar opacity, standard or hybrid basemaps, full zoom and pan
NOAA SEVERE WEATHER, WITHOUT THE NOISE
- Official NOAA land and marine warnings, watches and advisories, drawn as shapes on the map
- Set the severity threshold that is worth a notification to you
- Time Sensitive alerts break through Focus when it matters
- Rain forecast notifications with a minimum rainfall threshold you choose
- Tap any alert to open its full advisory report in place
HURRICANE TRACKING
- Hurricane tracker with forecast cones, historical tracks and storm detail
- Monitor several active systems at once
- Full-screen weather maps on iPad
THE FORECAST BEHIND THE MAP
- Current conditions, 24-hour hourly detail, 14-day outlook
- Feels-like, minimum and maximum temperature, humidity, dew point
- Wind speed and direction, chance of rain
- Sunrise, sunset and moon phases
- Long press anywhere on the radar to read conditions at that coordinate
APPLE WATCH
- Radar loop on your wrist, centered on your selected location
- The Digital Crown scrubs the animation frame by frame
WHEREVER YOU GO
- Multiple saved locations worldwide, switched in a tap
- Imperial or metric units (F/mph or C/kmh)
