description:
Every photo you share carries invisible baggage: GPS coordinates, camera details, timestamps, even your name.
MetaStrip lets you see it all and remove it instantly.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a photo, PDF, or video from your library or files
2. See every piece of hidden metadata, organized by category
3. Tap once to strip it clean
4. Save or share your clean file
WHAT GETS REMOVED
Location: GPS coordinates, latitude, longitude, altitude
Dates: Creation and modification timestamps
Device & Camera: Make, model, lens, exposure settings, ISO
Author & App: Your name, copyright info, software used
Technical Fingerprints: IPTC, XMP, and other embedded data
For PDFs: author, title, subject, creator application, producer, keywords, and dates.
For videos: location, creation dates, device info, and embedded metadata tracks.
Essential properties like dimensions and color profiles are preserved so your files still look perfect.
FULL TRANSPARENCY
MetaStrip is not a black box. Before anything is removed, you see exactly what metadata exists in your file,
organized into clear categories with item counts. You decide what goes.
100% PRIVATE
MetaStrip works entirely on your device. No servers. No cloud. No data collection. No account required. We
literally cannot see your files. Your privacy is not a feature — it is the entire point.

who wants to share files without giving away more than they intended.
